Marine in the Community was formed to create a link between Marine Football Club and the local community, to improve and enhance the lives of people living in Crosby and the surrounding areas by providing a safe and friendly environment for Children and Adults to improve and develop their skills.
We are raising money for a minibus to provide travel for our vulnerable in society as well as transport for the local schools we work with. If you would like to donate, please follow the link below:
We will be giving Zoom lessons to older people who may need the skills to be able to interact with others during lockdown. Lessons will be with first-team player Mike Howard and Social Media Manager Tom Clarke. Many thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund for their support on this programme. If you would like some help, contact Graeme via the email address below.
WEEKLY ZOOM FIT CLASS: Every Tuesday at 11am.
WEEKLY ZOOM YOGA CLASS: Every Wednesday at 11am.
WEEKLY ZOOM QUIZ: Every Thursday at 1pm.
We have also been busy supporting our friends and partners from the community cafe by delivering a free lunch, a quiz and local information from Sefton Council. This is done in partnership with Radfield Home Care and also offers a friendly chat and a chance to to share any concerns or worries. Marine in the Community is proud to support local people throughout this tough time and support people of all ages. If you know any elderly or vulnerable who would benefit from our support please email email@example.com
