    A charity for Crosby, Sefton and Merseyside

    Marine in the Community (MITC) is a registered charity (no. 1183929), founded in 2018 by Community Director Graeme Gardiner.

    We support people on a low income with life-changing opportunities, working with local partners to build a better community for ALL.

    • Sport: youth football, school coaching and holiday camps.
    • Health and wellbeing: Pilates, Tai Chi, Zumba Gold, chair yoga and walking.
    • Education and youth: after-school youth clubs with study support.
    • Community and the arts: the Friday cafe, choir, art class and community garden.
    We provide life-changing opportunities through sport, education, health, mental wellbeing, community projects and the arts which enrich, inspire and celebrate the Crosby, Sefton and Merseyside community.

    Where is Marine in the Community based?

    At the Marine Travel Arena, College Road, Crosby, Liverpool L23 3AS. Most sessions and The Hub are on site.

    How do I book the youth club or a football camp?

    Open the session in our What's on calendar, choose your month or day, select a quantity and press Get Tickets. Payment is taken securely online.

    How much does it cost to hire The Hub?

    Room hire starts from £25 per hour, with full-day and block bookings available on request. Email graeme@marineinthecommunity.com to book.

    Is The Hub accessible?

    Yes. The Hub has step-free access, accessible toilets and wide-entry doors.

    Who can book the minibus?

    Community groups in Crosby and Sefton can request the MITC minibus through the minibus booking page.
